Pop Models – Exhibition Design
Advertisements, comic strips, bold colours – and women. These were the hallmarks of Pop Art in the 1960s and ’70s, where women played a fascinating double role: the glamorous ideal and the liberated icon. They were supermodels and role models, sometimes in the same image.
With POP MODELS, Museum MORE puts women centre stage in Pop Art – not only as muses to be admired, but as artists shaping the movement. The exhibition design bursts with colour and energy, with bold graphics inspired by artists’ own words and playful, unexpected vistas. The museum’s spacious architecture becomes a vibrant canvas, guiding visitors on a free-flow journey where Pop Art’s women dazzle, defy, and inspire.
